Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes was in attendance to watch Lionel Messi and Argentina face Algeria in the 2026 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday night.
Mahomes was spotted at Arrowhead Stadium for the match.

Mahomes also reacted to Messi scoring his second goal of the night to give Argentina a 2-0 lead in a post on X.
The two stars previously met ahead of an MLS match between Inter Miami and Sporting Kansas City in 2024.
