Simone Biles Addresses Fan's Question About 'Near Death Experience' During Belize Trip with Husband

Seven-time Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles declined to divulge any details regarding what one fan called a "near death experience."

"Not ready to talk about it just yet," Biles said in the comments of an Instagram post from Sunday (via People's Skyler Caruso) about a trip to Belize with husband Jonathan Owens.

Earlier this month, she posted an Instagram Story in which she appears to be wearing a hospital bracelet. She wrote that "almost dying wasn't on my bingo card earlier this week."

Biles described the ordeal as "one of, if not the scariest experience of my life."

Complicating matters, Owens wasn't present as he was going through offseason workouts with the Indianapolis Colts. He signed a one-year deal with Indy in the spring.

Biles said in her original post she intends to address her medical scare in depth at some point down the road.
