Almost nothing happens on an athlete's social media profile by accident these days, so Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark had fans asking questions when she updated her Instagram account.

Most tellingly, her handle is now "Caitlin1," which many are reading as a tease of her upcoming signature sneaker:

Clark originally signed an NIL deal with Nike while in college at Iowa. The two sides continued the partnership once she made the jump to the pros, and she became a full signature athlete in 2025. The company said her first signature line will drop at some point this year.
