Jon 'Bones' Jones Reacts to Gane's TKO Win vs. Pereira on Video While Wearing GOAT Necklace
Dana White claimed earlier this week that Alex Pereira would be UFC's GOAT if he defeated Ciryl Gane at Freedom 250, but Gane came out on top.
Jon Jones, sporting a GOAT necklace, reacted to Gane's win on social media.
He also congratulated Gane on the victory:
Jones is widely considered to be the GOAT of UFC, but White said Pereira would hold that title with a win on Sunday.
"I don't think he'd be my GOAT, he'd be everybody's GOAT," White said earlier this week. "He'd win three belts. The guy used to weigh 185 pounds. And if he wins a belt on heavyweight on Sunday, pretty tough to argue he's not the GOAT."
Jones, who defended the heavyweight title in November of 2024 but has not fought since, lobbied to be on the card for Freedom 250, and there was even speculation about a fight between him and Pereira, but he ultimately was left off the card.
