The Dream improved to 9-4 with the win, and they trail the Liberty (10-4) by half a game for the lead in the Eastern Conference.
While Reese's final numbers were strong, she shot an abysmal 6-of-19 from the field. Still, she remained active on the glass, with 11 of her rebounds coming on the offensive side of the ball.
Reese was also taken down hard by Tempo forward Isabelle Harrison in the second half. Harrison was assessed a flagrant-2 foul and ejected from the game.
The Dream were led by the star backcourt duo of Allisha Gray and Rhyne Howard. Gray racked up 26 points and seven assists, while Howard added 24 points and six rebounds.
Reese and the Dream will try to keep the momentum going when they face Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever (8-5) on Thursday.
