The New York Knicks won the 2026 NBA championship after they were "uncursed" by WWE Superstar Danhausen, and it sounds like they will continue to be tied together.

According to Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer, TKO is putting a deal together between Danhausen and the Knicks for future projects, starting with their championship parade this week.

"The Danhausen/Knicks deal is being put together by TKO. WWE cameras will be at the parade, and they will likely be putting together a Knicks/Danhausen documentary for YouTube," Alvarez stated (h/t Steve Carrier of Ringside News).

The Knicks defeated the San Antonio Spurs in five games to win the NBA championship for the first time in 53 years. WWE already capitalized on the moment by releasing championship merchandise featuring Danhausen and the Knicks.

Danhausen also sent the team a congratulatory message after its victory:

It was also noted that WWE is hoping to bring the Knicks' celebration to Saturday Night's Main Event at Madison Square Garden on July 18, and at least one player is already confirmed.

It sounds like fans can expect more collaborations between Danhausen and the Knicks going forward.

Jey Uso Trolls Critics of KOTR Win

Jey Uso advanced in the King of the Ring Tournament by defeating LA Knight, Finn Balor and Royce Keys in an exciting Fatal Four-Way first-round match on Friday's episode of SmackDown, but fans were not pleased.

However, Uso brushed off the backlash to his win by posting a simple message on his Instagram Story (h/t Derek Holloway of Ringside News), saying, "Man yall love me."

This isn't the first time that Uso has resorted to trolling his critics. Earlier in the week, he claimed to be the fans' "favorite wrestler."

Uso appears to be unbothered by the routine criticism he's faced during his singles run, and WWE seems committed to pushing him despite the negative reaction from fans online.

Rhea Ripley Injury Update

WWE Women's Champion Rhea Ripley could be out of action for the foreseeable future.

During Friday's episode of SmackDown, WWE commentators Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett announced that Ripley is currently being evaluated after suffering a knee injury during the company's tour in Italy. Per Steve Carrier of Ringside News, WWE "is waiting to see how she responds to treatment" before determining a timeline for her return.

Ripley hasn't wrestled since the Clash in Italy premium live event on May 31, when she defeated Jade Cargill to retain her title. She also performed at house shows during WWE's European Summer Tour.

Without Ripley in the picture, WWE would put the spotlight on Women's U.S. Champion Tiffany Stratton and the Queen of the Ring Tournament.

WWE fans will certainly be hoping that Ripley won't have to miss too much time, and the company could provide more clarity on her recovery once her evaluation is completed.
