WWE Icon The Rock Details 'Really Painful' Health Scare in New Interview
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson revealed in an exclusive interview with Ryan D'Agostino of Esquire Magazine that he recently suffered from epididymitis.
The Mayo Clinic defined the condition as follows: "Epididymis is an inflammation of the coiled tube, called the epididymis, at the back of the testicle. The epididymis stores and carries sperm. Males of any age can get epididymitis. It is most often caused by a bacterial infection."
Johnson said he felt a lump on his left testicle last Friday while taking a shower and that it hurt to touch.

Late Sunday, Johnson called his doctor, who thought it was epididymitis. However, the doctor said Johnson had to get an ultrasound to rule out cancer.
Johnson got that done Tuesday, one day after doing an all-day event to promote Jumanji: Open World. Long story short, he's OK.
"By the way: I'm fine," he said. "But I didn't know that then, and the thing was really painful."
That's certainly great news and a massive sigh of relief for Johnson, the former WWE Superstar who is now one of Hollywood's biggest names.
