Malik Nabers Injury Update Provided by Giants' Harbaugh, Gives Latest Timeline for WR's Return
New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers has made "some real good progress in the last few weeks" while rehabilitating from the knee injury that ended his 2025 season, head coach John Harbaugh said Wednesday.
"He's making really good progress right now, so I'm very hopeful that he'll be back soon," Harbaugh said.
"But also, I understandโ you come back from a knee, he'll be back, and he'll still be building his way back to his ultimate, full-strength self."

Kittle Still Eyeing Week 1 Return
Nabers suffered a torn right ACL last September and underwent a cleanup procedure on his knee this spring.
The second procedure was designed "to remove scar tissue causing stiffness," ESPN's Jordan Raanan reported.
As of mid-May, the Giants were "hopeful that Nabers will be ready for Week 1," according to Raanan.
Harbaugh said around that time that Nabers was "in the middle" of the rehabilitation process.
In his Wednesday update, Harbaugh said: "He's probably not in the middle of it, now. He's probably made 70 percent through, I don't know, something like that, 80 percent through.
"He's still grinding. It's going to be a grind when he starts playing again, too."
Harbaugh said Nabers had told him he planned to remain around the team in time to leading up to training camp in late July.
The latest update on Nabers comes after Giants general manager Joe Schoen told Yahoo Sports' Jori Epstein on Monday he thought Nabers will "be fine Week 1."
"He's trending in the right direction," Schoen told Epstein on Monday. "Again, these things take time, so it's not instant. Every patient is different."
Getting Nabers back this offseason will give the Giants a chance to build chemistry between their top wideout and quarterback Jaxson Dart.
Dart completed the first pass of his NFL career to Nabers, but the two connected for just one more catch before Nabers suffered his season-ending injury in Week 4 of last season.
The Giants are also missing wide receiver Darius Slayton, who underwent surgery on a core muscle injury this offseason. Getting Nabers and Slayton back as soon as possible could be key to helping Dart take a step forward in his second NFL season.
