Joel Bitonio Jokes About Johnny Manziel in New Video from Browns Retirement Ceremony
Former Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel caught a stray as longtime offensive lineman Joel Bitonio officially retired from the NFL.
During his press conference, Bitonio singled out players who helped him during a 12-year career. In his own way, Manziel was one of those people.
"I was drafted the same year as Johnny Manziel. And we actually roomed together," Bitonio said. "I learned some things not to do from him."

Browns' 7x Pro Bowler Bitonio Retires
The Browns selected Manziel with the No. 22 pick in 2014 and grabbed Bitonio 13 spots later. Needless to say, the two had vastly divergent journeys on the gridiron.
Bitonio is a seven-time Pro Bowler and earned All-Pro honors on two occasions. He's one of the best blockers in franchise history.
Manziel, on the other hand, made just 14 total starts for the team. He became a cautionary tale in terms of player evaluations and the pitfalls of college stars coasting on their reputations in the pros.
The 2012 Heisman Trophy winner wasn't ready to be a starting quarterback when he first arrived in the NFL, and he didn't show much dedication to his craft from that point forward.
Manziel was a useful influence on Bitonio and others because doing the opposite of whatever he did probably meant you were on the right track.
