
Caitlin Clark Hits Game-Winner as Fever Beat Mystics, Final Box Score Stats, Highlights
Caitlin Clark drilled a 3-pointer in the final seconds to propel the Indiana Fever to a 78-76 victory over the Washington Mystics on Monday.
The Fever improved to 2-1 in Commissioner's Cup play, moving into a tie with the Atlanta Dream for second place in the Eastern Conference standings. Indiana opened tournament play with a win over Atlanta before falling to the New York Liberty.
Washington dropped to 1-2 in Commissioner's Cup competition after losses to Atlanta and Indiana, with its lone victory coming against the Chicago Sky.
Clark led the Fever with 19 points, shooting 40 percent from 3-point range while adding a steal.
Sophie Cunningham scored eight points off the bench, while Myisha Hines-Allen finished with five points, four rebounds and a steal as Indiana improved to 6-5 on the season.

Falling to 4-6 on the season, Michaela Onyenwere led the Mystics with 17 points on 57 percent shooting from the field while adding a steal.
Rookie Lauren Betts contributed eight points off the bench, and Washington's reserves stepped up, combining for 23 points in the loss.

The Mystics were held to 16 points in the first quarter as the Fever built a 43-29 halftime lead behind 10 points from Clark and seven from Mitchell.
Washington responded in the third quarter, trimming the deficit to five behind strong performances from Lauren Betts and Georgia Amoore.
The Mystics grabbed the lead with 51 seconds remaining on a layup by Shakira Austin before Clark missed two crucial free throws at the other end.
Kelsey Mitchell capitalized on a Washington turnover to briefly put Indiana back in front, but Sonia Citron responded with two free throws to give the Mystics a 76-75 advantage with 4.3 seconds left.
With the game hanging in the balance, Clark delivered. The Fever star buried a 31-foot 3-pointer, stunning the Mystics and lifting Indiana to a dramatic two-point victory.
The Fever return home to host the Chicago Sky on Thursday, while the Mystics will host the Toronto Tempo on Friday.
