Jazz Chisholm Jr. Hits HR with Aaron Judge's Bat, Yankees Star Injured Himself in Previous Attempt

Timothy RappJun 7, 2026

Jazz Chisholm Jr. hit a three-run homer during Sunday's 6-1 win over the Boston Red Sox, and he did so using injured teammate Aaron Judge's bat.

It isn't the first time Chisholm has borrowed his superstar teammate's lumber, though the last time he did so it ended with him injuring himself:

"It's like a big brother, little brother thing," Chisholm told reporters about borrowing the bat, saying he definitely didn't ask permission from Judge to do so.

As Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News noted, Chisholm likes borrowing gear—he's worn Trent Grisham and Giancarlo Stanton's pants during the 2026 season and also used José Caballero's bat.

"I've probably used almost everybody's bat in here, except probably [Paul Goldschmidt] and [Giancarlo] Stanton," Chisholm added.

Hey, whatever works. So long as Chisholm isn't injuring himself doing so, of course.
