Caitlin Clark Responds to Rumors About Fever in New Video, 'Those Opinions Don't Matter'
Caitlin Clark was asked about unfounded online rumors surrounding the Indiana Fever amid an uneven start to the season.
Speaking to reporters on Saturday, Clark made it clear in response to a question about "rumors" on social media that she isn't interested in entertaining the discourse.
"I don't really know why we're still on this," Clark said. "...We didn't blatantly sit there and talk about everything you guys were writing and what's in the media."

"Those opinions don't matter," she added.
This season hasn't gone well for the Fever, who are 5-5 after Saturday's loss to the New York Liberty.
Clark has been putting up numbers, averaging 18.7 PPG, 8.2 APG and 4.7 RPG. However, she's also endured a tough shooting season, making 38.2 percent of her field goals and 32.3 percent of her three-pointers.
That said, Indiana still has 34 games left. There's plenty of time for the Fever to turn things around and quiet any outside noise.
Indiana will look to move back over .500 when the team visits the Washington Mystics on Monday at 7 p.m. ET.
