Barcelona Transfer News: Latest on Pedro and Adama Traore Rumours
Barcelona are prepared to see two wing talents leave their borders following the news Manchester United will announce Pedro Rodriguez as their latest signing on Wednesday and Adama Traore will move to Liverpool.
Tuesday's UEFA Super Cup fixture against Sevilla will be Pedro's last in Blaugrana colours, according to Spanish newspaper Marca (via Metro's Sean Kearns) before his confirmation as a Red Devil.

Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo (h/t Tom Conn of Inside Spanish Football) reported Pedro had been handed a 48-hour deadline as United prepare to face Club Brugge in the first leg of their Champions League playoff on August 18.
And Full Time Devils cite Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport as insisting the deal is now done as Manchester United prepare to complete their latest major signing of the summer window:
"'Pedro to #mufc.. All is done.' #TransferDaily https://t.co/Dllqq7MlbP

Barca manager Luis Enrique has made it clear he wants the player to stay, per Sky Sports, describing Pedro as "a high standard player that has already won everything."
The timing of the sale could be significantly influenced by Neymar after it was reported the Brazilian had contracted mumps. Barca fan Sergi Dominguez therefore believes Pedro's move will be delayed:
"Neymar is injured for 15 days?! No Alba or Neymar for European and Spanish Super Cups. Don't see Pedro leaving before 12th of August.
— Sergi Domínguez (@FutbolSergi) August 9, 2015"
It's true Pedro's prospects of first-team football look difficult in his current setting after Neymar and Lionel Messi combined with Luis Suarez to lead Barcelona to the treble last season.
Angel Di Maria's departure from Old Trafford has only increased United's need to sign Pedro, with Bleacher Report's Andy Brassell recently discussing whether he'd be considered an upgrade on the Argentinian:
The Spain international has made more than 300 appearances for the Catalan giants in the past decade, but was limited to just 15 league starts last term, making 50 appearances across all competitions.
From those figures, it's clear Pedro is still a valued asset at Camp Nou and is merely unfortunate to find himself competing against such world-class peers, but he would be sure to find more prominence in England.
Liverpool Closing On Adama Traore Deal

Barcelona winger Traore is "convinced" he'll make his move to Liverpool in the coming days in a bid to improve his chances of gaining first-team minutes.
That's according to Spanish website Fichajes (via Metro's Tom Olver), following reports Traore will complete a £4.2 million move to the Merseyside outfit rather than try to fight for a place in Catalonia.
Traore has represented Spain at under-16, under-17 and under-19 levels and is a hotly tipped prospect, but the competition in Barcelona has proved nigh impossible to beat.
That's despite news to the contrary, however, with Dominguez recently sourcing Spanish radio station RAC1 to proclaim the Reds were no longer part of the race to sign Traore:
The 19-year-old made his Primera Division debut aged 17 but has yet to build on that 2013 appearance and instead found himself lodged in the Barcelona B team.
Liverpool sold Raheem Sterling to Manchester City earlier this summer and have yet to bring in a natural replacement for the speedster, with Traore fitting that bill in a positional sense.
Like the aforementioned Pedro, Traore will look at the likes of Neymar and Messi as steep competition for a place in Enrique's team while fellow youngsters Munir El Haddadi and Sandro Ramirez are already ahead of him in the pecking order.
The teenager's Barca journey may not yet be over, as the Daily Mail's Pete Jenson insists any deal will include a buy-back option, but Liverpool look to have landed the forward's loyalties for now.
