Belmont Stakes Odds 2026, Final Predictions on Latest Vegas Betting Lines

The 2026 Belmont Stakes should be an entertaining finish to Triple Crown season.

There won't be a Triple Crown winner, but Golden Tempo has the opportunity to win two of the three premier events in American horse racing.

The Kentucky Derby winner starts from the furthest outside post for Saturday's race at Saratoga Race Course.

Fellow Derby horses Commandment, Renegade, Emerging Market and Chief Wallabee give the Belmont field a top-heavy feel to it.

Renegade enters Saturday as the favorite. He held that role at the Kentucky Derby and finished second behind Golden Tempo.

Renegade is the most accomplished horse in the Belmont Stakes field.

The current favorite finished first or second in each of his last five starts, including the Kentucky Derby.

Renegade won the Arkansas Derby and Sam F. Davis Stakes in the build-up to the Derby. He overcame a tough draw from the inside post position at Churchill Downs and almost beat Golden Tempo at the line.

If Renegade runs a cleaner race, he will most likely cross the finish line in first.

However, the 2026 Triple Crown season has not been kind to favorites. Golden Tempo won as a long-shot on the first Saturday in May. Napoleon Solo captured the Preakness Stakes as an 8-1 horse.

Chief Wallabee is an intriguing pick because he has been in the mix in multiple races against Commandment, Renegade and Golden Tempo.

Chief Wallabee took fourth at the Kentucky Derby to extend a run of four straight top-four finishes.

Commandment reeled off four straight wins before a disappointing seventh-place finish at Churchill Downs.

A rebound performance at Saratoga is possible given how well the horse ran prior to the Triple Crown races.

Golden Tempo has a shot as well. After all, he beat a handful of these horses just a month ago at the Derby.

At minimum, we should witness an exciting down-to-the wire conclusion to Triple Crown season with so much quality in the field.
