
Watch WWE HOFer Kurt Angle Walk Out With Morgan Wallen in Trending Video to Start Pittsburgh Concert
WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle welcomed country star Morgan Wallen and walked out with him to the stage at Acrisure Stadium, home of the Pittsburgh Steelers, on Friday evening.
Angle was born and raised in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania, which is south of downtown Pittsburgh.
The former WWE superstar won an Olympic gold medal in the 100 kg (220 lb) freestyle wrestling division in 1996, when the Summer Games were held in Atlanta. He also won gold at the 1995 World Championships in the same weight class and earned two gold medals in the NCAA Division I Championships (1990, 1992).
He later had a tremendous professional wrestling career, notably becoming a five-time heavyweight champion in WWE. Angle later excelled in TNA and became a six-time heavyweight champion as well.
