Russell Wilson's Wife Ciara Calls QB 'The Best in the World' in IG Post After NFL Retirement Video
Ciara Wilson says she's proud of her husband Russell Wilson after the Super Bowl-winning quarterback announced his retirement from the NFL in a Wednesday post on Instagram.
"The best in the world! There's only one, 3!" Ciara wrote in an Instagram comment. "Always so proud of you! It's a true blessing to go on this journey with you! My greatest inspiration! I love you so much!"

The singer-songwriter and quarterback have been married since 2016 and are raising four children together.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported that Wilson had an offer to return to teh NFL and play as a backup quarterback in 2026.
Instead, Wilson said in his video he would be starting his "next chapter" by working on CBS Sports' NFL Today.
Wilson, who earned nine Pro Bowl nods and won Super Bowl XLVIII in his 10 seasons with the Seattle Seahawks, played for the Denver Broncos and Pittsburgh Steelers before spending most of his final NFL season as a backup for the New York Giants in 2025.
He will retire from the NFL ranked 16th on the league's all-time passing leaderboard with 46,966 passing yards over 14 seasons.
