New Backyard Baseball Video Game Drops Official Cinematic Trailer Ahead of July Release Date for PC

IGN dropped the official trailer Thursday for the upcoming Backyard Baseball video game.

The trailer features many of the iconic characters from the series, which debuted in 1997, including Pablo Sanchez.

After acquiring the Backyard Baseball and Backyard Sports IPs in 2024, Playground Productions re-released the 1997 and 2001 editions of the Backyard Baseball video game.

However, the upcoming Backyard Baseball will be the first brand-new entry in the series in over a decade.

Backyard Baseball is set for an official release for PC via Steam on July 9, and it will also drop on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch consoles at a later date.
