Travis Kelce Reacts to Aaron Donald Return Rumors After Myles Garrett Trade to Rams
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce isn't thrilled about rumors that Aaron Donald might come out of retirement to join Myles Garrett on the Los Angeles Rams defensive line.
Kelce discussed the Rams potentially pairing Garrett and Donald with his brother Jason Kelce around the 10:50 mark of Wednesday's New Heights podcast.
"They can't do that, right?" Kelce asked.

Kelce continued, "I'm starting a GoFundMe. This isn't allowed. I don't know what we're raising money for, but we're going to put a halt to this."
The Rams acquired Garrett from the Cleveland Browns on Monday in exchange for a package including linebacker Jared Verse and a 2027 first-round pick.
The trade sparked rumors that Donald, who last played in the 2023 season before announcing his retirement in March 2024, could return to the Rams for the 2026 campaign.
ESPN's Pat McAfee said Tuesday he reached out to Donald about the Rams acquiring Garrett, and that the former NFL defender texted him the deal "for sure got me thinking."
According to McAfee, Donald then texted: "35, removed two years ago, got to see if that fire can light back up."
NFL insider Jordan Schultz also reported that Donald had texted him he was "for sure flirting with the idea" of a return.
"Helluva an opportunity with the Super Bowl in SoFi this year," Donald texted, per Schultz. "If I can find the fire, it's a possibility."
Garrett and Donald are two of 16 pass rushers in NFL history to record more than 20 sacks in a single season. Getting both of them on the same defensive line would make a Week 13 matchup at the Rams on Dec. 3 an even tougher test for Patrick Mahomes, Kelce and the Chiefs.
