Where Drake London's Contract Ranks Among Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Top NFL WRs After New Falcons Deal
Only Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Ja'Marr Chase will be paid more than Drake London on a per-year basis among wide receivers after the Atlanta Falcons reportedly agreed to a new deal with their playmaker.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Tuesday the Falcons and London agreed to a four-year, $141 million contract extension that features $100 million in guarantees and can be worth up to $150 million.
It also makes him the highest-paid wide receiver in Falcons history on a per-year basis.

Every Team's Biggest Position Battle
NFL insider David Lombardi relayed where he fits among the top-paid receivers in the league:
| Receiver | Average Per-Year Salary |
| Jaxon Smith-Njigba | $42.2 million |
| Ja'Marr Chase | $40.3 million |
| Drake London | $35.3 million |
| Justin Jefferson | $35 million |
| CeeDee Lamb | $34 million |
London is part of a young and talented offensive core in Atlanta that also includes Bijan Robinson and Kyle Pitts.
And now the 24-year-old will continue to be one of the team's leaders for the foreseeable future after this deal that places him among the league's highest-paid receivers.
London posted career-best numbers in 2024 with 100 catches for 1,271 yards and nine touchdowns and then followed that with 68 catches for 919 yards and seven touchdowns last season.
He was limited to 12 games in 2025 after playing all 17 in his career-best year.
The Falcons' pass-catcher doesn't quite have the resume of a Smith-Njigba or Chase, but there is no doubting his talent and overall potential. Given that, along with his recent production, the Falcons jumped at the opportunity to make him a key part of their future.
Even if it is costing them quite a significant amount of money.
