Everything Myles Garrett Said About Rams-Browns Trade, Pursuing Super Bowl Title, Chloe Kim
The only thing missing from Myles Garrett's resume is a championship ring, and he's ready to change that with the Los Angeles Rams.
"Very excited to be here," Garrett told reporters Tuesday when addressing the media for the first time since the Cleveland Browns traded him to the Rams. "It's an honor and blessing to be in this building. I have a lot of respect for all the guys here, from the coaching staff to management to the players.
"I've gotten to see it firsthand, and it's very quality. Quality team, quality business and I like the way things operate. I'm looking forward to hopefully bringing a championship here to L.A."

Why Rams Backed Off A.J. Trade
He also said he found out the trade could happen approximately a week ago and added, "Since the beginning, it's always been about winning. I will always have love in my heart for Cleveland and the city."
Cleveland is the only NFL team he has ever known after it selected him with the No. 1 overall pick of the 2017 NFL draft, and his comments Tuesday underscore his message to the Browns fans he released Monday.
Garrett looked back at "nine unforgettable years" with the AFC North team and thanked everyone involved in a longer statement:
"What I can say with complete honesty is this: I gave this city everything I had," he wrote. "I suited up and wore those colors with pride, and I don't regret a second of being part of this storied franchise. Every Sunday. Every offseason. Every play. Every down. Every moment. You gave me more in return than I can ever repay."
Now he is starting a new chapter in his playing career, although he already has ties to Los Angeles through his father and girlfriend Chloe Kim, who just so happens to be an Olympic gold medalist snowboarder.
"As far as my ties to the city, my dad's from LA, so that's an obvious tie," he told reporters. "But you know, Chloe...her being from here and us being in the same city is obviously, you know, something that I love and appreciate.
The star pass-rusher wore No. 95 his entire time with the Browns, and he revealed it cost him "more than a couple bucks" to get the number from Poona Ford on the Rams:
The pressure will be on Garrett to deliver since Los Angeles gave up defensive end Jared Verse, a 2027 first-round draft pick, a 2028 second-round draft pick and a 2029 third-round draft pick in the trade, but he has been one of the best players of his generation throughout his career.
His list of accomplishments includes two Defensive Player of the Year awards, five First-Team All-Pro selections, seven Pro Bowl nods and eight straight seasons of double-digit sacks, including in 2025 when he set the single-season record with 23.
Yet all of those individual achievements led to little team success, as the Browns were 5-12 last season and made the playoffs just twice in his nine years with one postseason win.
He was likely never getting that Super Bowl ring he is targeting with the Rams had he stayed in Cleveland, and now he can be the defensive difference for a Los Angeles team looking to take the next step after losing to the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Championship Game.
If he is, his Hall of Fame resume will be complete.
