A.J. Brown Posts Childhood Photo in Tom Brady Jersey After Trade to Patriots from Eagles

Not even the seemingly endless speculation about A.J. Brown eventually being traded to the New England Patriots dated back as far as his apparent affinity for the team.

The wide receiver took to Instagram on Monday after the Philadelphia Eagles traded him to New England and posted pictures of himself as a child wearing a Tom Brady Patriots No. 12 jersey:

The post comes after Philadelphia traded Brown to New England in exchange for a 2028 first-round draft pick and a 2027 fifth-round draft pick. That means Brown will once again have the opportunity to play for head coach Mike Vrabel after they were previously together with the Tennessee Titans.

New England now has a No. 1 receiver for quarterback Drake Maye in a move that was a long time coming.
