Amanda Serrano will look to continue her reign over the featherweight division with a win over Cheyenne Hanson as part of a double main event for MVPW-03.

The card, headlined by Holly Holm vs. Stephanie Han II, features multiple world title fights.

Serrano remains one of the biggest stars on Jake Paul's roster. The 37-year-old brings star power to a matchup against power-punching German Cheyenne Hanson.

It's the kind of card that is expected to bring even more attention to Jake Paul's Most Valuable Promotion and shine a light on women's boxing.

As the odds would indicate, it's hard to find real belief that Hanson has the tools needed to upset Serrano.

Given Rico Verhoeven recent success against heavyweight Oleksandr Usyk, it's hard to completely count Hanson out, though. She racked up six world titles in kickboxing before she made the transition to traditional boxing.

This will be Hanson's first opportunity to capture a world title in the sweet science. The 28-year-old has amassed a 17-2 record as a pro and is currently on a nine-fight win streak.

However, the competition gap is massive. Hanson has fought just two fighters with winning records in her last five bouts and she's about to take on one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the sport right now.

Much of the intrigue in this bout will simply come down to whether Hanson can make the fight competitive. Serrano also has a record in mind that is going to make things interesting.

Serrano is sitting at 31 knockouts and she would like to surpass Christy Martin's record of 32.

"The goal is definitely to get that Christy Martin record, so if it comes this year, then we'll think about retiring," Serrano told Ring Magazine. "But until that happens, I love making history, breaking records. That's the goal."

Hanson could prove tough to add to Serrano's list. She has not been finished in her boxing career and demonstrated her durability in boxing as well.

This should be a fast-paced fight so a knockout is certainly in the cards, but the more likely result is a one-sided decision where Serrano's technical acumen, speed and technique are on display.
