New Predictions for WWE Clash in Italy 2026 Match Card Including Roman Reigns vs. Jacob Fatu
WWE's annual Clash PLE has become an international affair for the past few years, and this weekend's show takes us to Turin, Italy.
Five matches have been booked for the show, including four title bouts. Here's a look at the lineup:
Let's go through each match and make some predictions.
Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar
1 of 5
After faking a retirement following his loss to Femi at WrestleMania, Lesnar returned and immediately reignited their feud with an attack.
Now, the two behemoths will square off once again, but this time, the outcome is going to be different.
WWE is not going to have The Beast lose two matches in a row, so he is going to get the victory here, which will even them up for Femi to get the win in their third encounter, possibly at SummerSlam.
This will be more competitive than their last encounter, so hopefully, Femi still comes away from this looking strong.
Prediction: Lesnar wins
Becky Lynch vs. Sol Ruca
2 of 5
Lynch purposely getting herself disqualified in her non-title bout against Ruca at Saturday Night's Main Event might end up being her undoing.
Adam Pearce immediately booked the two in a rematch for the PLE, but this time, Lynch's title will be on the line.
This feels like a slam dunk decision to put the belt on Ruca and catapult her up the ladder. Her initial push has been lacking, so this is the best way to get her back on the right track.
This should be a fun and competitive outing, unlike their last encounter.
Prediction: Ruca wins the IC title
Cody Rhodes vs. Gunther
3 of 5
Out of all of the matches on the card, this one is the hardest to predict because both options make sense.
Rhodes can continue to cement himself as the top babyface by beating a dominant heel, or Gunther could regain his place at the top of the mountain by winning the WWE Championship.
Neither outcome is bad, which makes it much harder to make a definitive pick. There is one other factor to consider, which might affect the outcome.
Rhodes has only held the belt since March 6. WWE prefers longer world title reigns these days, and for that reason, we are giving Rhodes the slight edge.
Prediction: Rhodes retains
Rhea Ripley vs. Jade Cargill
4 of 5
Ripley and Cargill are set for a rematch over the WWE women's title this weekend, giving us a WrestleMania rematch in the process.
The reason Ripley is going to retain is similar to the reason we gave for Rhodes. She has only held the belt since April 19, which would make this reign ridiculously short if she were to lose.
We will likely see B-Fab and Michin get involved, and possibly Iyo Sky, too. Regardless of who shows up, The Eradicator is leaving with the belt.
Prediction: Ripley retains
Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk
5 of 5
Once again, we have a champion who just won their title at WrestleMania just over a month ago.
Reigns and Fatu have made their showdown one of the most anticipated of the weekend, and the Tribal Combat stipulation makes it even more intriguing.
As great as it would be to see Fatu dethrone his cousin and claim his first world title, it feels like WWE is going to go in a different direction.
Instead of simply losing clean to The OTC, we will likely see interference from The Usos, and possibly one of Fatu's other rivals like Drew McIntyre. This will help protect Fatu while keeping the belt right where it is.
Prediction: Reigns retains
