Trevor Lawrence Talks Reaction to Haircut Spoof in Jaguars' Trending NFL Schedule Release Video

Don't worry, Jacksonville Jaguars fans.

Quarterback Trevor Lawrence doesn't plan on cutting his signature long hair "anytime soon" despite the team's deepfake schedule release video.

Lawrence said as much, per Mark Long of the Associated Press, while opening up about the reactions he received in the immediate aftermath of the video.

"I got a lot of, 'That's not real, right?'" Lawrence said Tuesday. "And I'm like, 'No.' They're like, 'Oh, thank God.' Then they say how bad it was. But I wonder what they would have said if I was like, 'Yeah.'"

Jacksonville also released a behind-the-scenes video providing further context to what went into the schedule release one:

"People my age, typically, they don't really believe it," Lawrence said. "But then the older and older it gets, it's like they just can't quite figure out the AI and the fakes out there."

A haircut would have been quite the drastic change for the quarterback who is looking to build on last season's playoff efforts. Jacksonville went 13-4 and won the AFC South in large part because of his efforts under center.

He completed 60.9 percent of his passes for 4,007 yards, 29 touchdowns and 12 interceptions, marking the third time in his career he surpassed 4,000 yards through the air in a single season.

As long as the 26-year-old continues to produce like that, he will remain the face of the franchise.

And he still has his signature look in that role.
