Jazz Chisholm Jr.'s Absurd Stats While Wearing Giancarlo Stanton's Pants Revealed After Yankees' Win

Jazz Chisholm Jr. recently started wearing his teammate's pants to get out of a slump, and things are going well so far.

The New York Yankees shortstop is hitting .415 with a pair of homers and six RBI since he started wearing Giancarlo Stanton's pants earlier this month.

Chisholm, who stands at 5'11", 184 pounds, had been wearing Trent Grisham's pants, but he couldn't find them during a series against the Baltimore Orioles. He then opted to wear Stanton's pants. Stanton is 6'6" and 245 pounds.

In his first game wearing Stanton's pants, he hit a double against the Orioles.

"I went to Big G's pants, and the balls were coming off hot," Chisholm said.

Chisholm then went 7-for-12 in the Yankees' series against the New York Mets while wearing Stanton's pants. Along the way, he also started using Jose Caballero's bat.

"I was like, bro, keep my bat hot, and he's like, 'All right, let me try that,'" said Caballero, who was out with a broken finger at the time. "His is more end-loaded. Mine is more balanced so you can really feel your hands."

The baggy pants don't quite fit the mold of what most MLB players are wearing these days, but Chisholm gets all the approval he needs from the Yankees and their fans.

"My teammates love 'em," Chisholm said. "I hear a lot of fans on the road talk about it, but at home guys like it."

Whether Chisholm's new pants are here to stay remains to be seen, but it seems unlikely he'll go back to his old trousers while he's still hot.
