Paige Bueckers led the Dallas Wings to a 91-76 road win over the New York Liberty on Sunday, spoiling the season debut of Sabrina Ionescu.

Bueckers finished with 24 points on 54 percent shooting, adding six rebounds and two assists in a steady all-around effort as Dallas improved to 4-3 on the season.

Rookie Azzi Fudd delivered a breakout performance, tying the record for the second-most points in a quarter by a rookie in WNBA history with 17 in the third. She finished with a career-high 24 points on 60 percent shooting, going 6-of-12 from 3-point range while adding three steals and two blocks off the bench.

Arike Ogunbowale added 19 points, four rebounds and five assists to help seal the win for Dallas.

Ionescu made her first start of the season on Sunday after missing time with a left ankle injury suffered in the New York Liberty's preseason win over the Connecticut Sun. The 28-year-old guard was sidelined for nearly three weeks before returning to action.

Ionescu finished with 11 points, five rebounds and seven assists in her return to the starting lineup. Breanna Stewart added 14 points and 11 rebounds for a double-double for the Liberty.

Satou Sabally paced the Liberty with 20 points while shooting 50 percent from 3-point range in the loss as New York dropped to 3-3 on the season.

Both teams entered Monday's matchup looking to rebound after losses and get back into the win column.

The Wings began the season with a narrow win over Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever before stumbling through consecutive home losses.

Dallas regained momentum by stringing together back-to-back victories behind a combined 42 points from Bueckers, but dropped its third game of the season against Atlanta in a 17-point loss.

The Liberty came out strong to open the season, cruising past the Sun in a 31-point rout. New York followed with an overtime win against the Washington Mystics before splitting a two-game set with the Portland Fire.

The Liberty suffered their second loss of the season against the Golden State Valkyries last Thursday before falling again to the Dream on Sunday.

New York will meet Portland again on Monday in the second night of a back-to-back at home, while Dallas will host the Las Vegas Aces on Thursday.
