Jacob Misiorowski Says He Can Throw 105 MPH in B/R's On Base with Mookie Betts Video
Jacob Misiorowski is having a fantastic 2026 season with a fastball that regularly tops out over 100 mph. But the Milwaukee Brewers' ace believes he has even more gas in that heater.
"I think 104-105 mph," he told Los Angeles Dodgers' star Mookie Betts when asked how hard he thinks he could throw during the On Base show (9:22 mark). "I think I could touch 105."

Report: MLB Vet Unretires After 1 Day
Hitters are having a hard enough time handling Misiorowski without him adding additional velocity. The 24-year-old is 4-2 this season across 10 starts (57 innings) with a 1.89 ERA, 0.87 WHIP and an MLB-leading 88 strikeouts.
He's one of the early frontrunners to win the NL Cy Young, joining the likes of Pittsburgh's Paul Skenes (the defending winner), Philly's Alexis Sรกnchez and L.A.'s Shohei Ohtani, among many others.
The Brewers have gone 30-19 in the process and sit atop the very competitive NL Central by 1.5 games over the St. Louis Cardinals, buoyed by the one-two punch of Misiorowski and Kyle Harrison atop the rotation.
