SEC Baseball Championship Bracket 2026 Arkansas vs. Georgia Score, Reaction

Georgia has won the 2026 SEC baseball tournament after defeating Arkansas 11-1 on Sunday from Hoover Metropolitan Stadium in Hoover, Alabama.

The game ended after six-and-a-half innings due to the run rule with Georgia up 10 after Arkansas' turn at the plate in the top of the seventh.

With that, the five-round, 16-team bracket is complete, and now fans wait to hear the NCAA Division I baseball tournament field on Monday at noon ET.

Until then, though, here's a look at how the SEC final, which started at 4:45 p.m. ET after a nearly three-hour rain delay, went down.

Georgia put up five in the first inning after back-to-back RBI doubles from Rylan Lujo and Brennan Hudson followed by Kenny Ishikawa's RBI single.

Designated hitter Jack Arcamone then smacked a two-run, two-out homer for a 5-0 lead.

The Bulldogs kept pouring it on with one run in the second (Daniel Jackson RBI single) and two in the third. Tre Phelps hit an RBI single and then coerced a throwing error after stealing second, leading to Ryan Black scoring from third.

Maika Niu posted Arkansas' run on a solo homer in the top of the sixth, but Georgia put the run rule into play when Ryan Wynn drew a bases-loaded walk and Arcamone hit a two-RBI single. UGA shut the door in the seventh.

UGA starting pitcher Paul Farley pitched four shutout innings, striking out six. Farley and relievers Zach Brown, Caleb Jameson and Jordan Stephens combined to strike out 10 in seven frames.

Needless to say, Georgia is on fire entering the tournament.

This marks the Bulldogs' first-ever SEC tournament victory (the tournament began in 1977). It's UGA's first SEC title since 1954, when the Bulldogs were declared champions after winning the regular season title.

Georgia, which won the regular season title, improved to 46-12 on the year. The Bulldogs were notably ranked fourth in the D1Baseball.com poll before the SEC tournament began.
