Watch Lance Stephenson Submit Michael Beasley in MMA Fight, Highlights & Reaction for Ex-NBA Stars
Former NBA stars Lance Stephenson and Michael Beasley settled their rivalry on Saturday night, but not on the basketball court.
Stephenson and Beasley faced off in an MMA fight at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, with Stephenson earning a victory via first-round submission.
The ball players briefly exchanged punches before Stephenson took Beasley down. After surviving Beasley's guillotine choke attempt, Stephenson locked in a rear-naked choke without having his legs secured and still forced Beasley to tap out just 1:05 into the fight.

Afterward, Beasley admitted that he didn't know how to fight out of the submission. He was seen working on his ground game at the UFC Performance Institute in a viral video leading up to the fight. He added that he would welcome the chance to rematch Stephenson in boxing, and Stephenson said he'd be willing to let Beasley choose the stage for their next showdown.
Stephenson and Beasley were teammates on the Miami 305 team that won the 2025 BIG3 championship, so they can now move forward and return to basketball after settling the score in a fight.
