Patriots' Will Campbell Announces Engagement to Girlfriend Ashlynn Nussmeier in IG Photo

New England Patriots left tackle Will Campbell announced his engagement to his girlfriend, Ashlynn Nussmeier, in a photo posted to his Instagram story on Saturday.

The couple's relationship has been public since Sept. 2024.

Nussmeier is the sister of Kansas City Chiefs rookie quarterback Garrett Nussmeier.

Garrett and Campbell were previously teammates at LSU for three seasons from 2022-24.

Campbell previously discussed his relationship with Ashlynn in April 2025.

"She's amazing," Campbell told US Weekly's Daniel Trainor at the time. "She has a football background, so she knows what it takes, the sacrifices that have to be made. If she wasn't as good with that type of stuff, I'm sure it would be a lot more difficult. But she's a rock star."

The Patriots selected Campbell with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft before he started 13 games as a rookie. Pro Football Focus gave him a grade of 72.6 last season, as he allowed five sacks in 782 snaps.

Campbell also started all four games during New England's playoff run, which ended with a Super Bowl loss against the Seattle Seahawks.

As the 22-year-old prepares for his second season with the Patriots, he's also set to become a husband in the near future.
