The 2026 NCAA Division I Men's Lacrosse National Championship Game was officially set Saturday, as No. 1 Princeton and No. 2 Notre Dame earned their spots in the final.
Princeton made quick work of Duke in the first semifinal, cruising to a 14-7 victory, while Notre Dame used a 6-0 fourth quarter to dispatch No. 6 Syracuse 15-7.
While the start time has yet to be officially announced, Princeton and Notre Dame will meet on Monday with a national title hanging in the balance.

Offseason Moves for Every Team š
With just one game remaining to determine a national champ, the roads Princeton and Notre Dame took to reach the finals can be seen via the bracket on the official NCAA lacrosse website.
The Tigers posted a 16-2 record this season, and they weren't tested for much of their NCAA tournament run.
Princeton cruised to a 17-8 win over Marist in the first round before beating No. 8 Penn State 14-10 in the quarterfinals and doubling up Duke in the semis.
Penn State came closest to knocking off Princeton, as the Nittany Lions were tied with the Tigers at halftime and after three quarters. However, Princeton dominated the fourth quarter of that game and won by four.
Like Princeton, the 13-2 Fighting Irish cruised through much of the tournament, crushing Jacksonville 18-5 in the first round and Johns Hopkins 15-9 in the quarters before taking care of Syracuse in the semis as well.
It is fair to say that the Tigers have significantly more firepower than the Irish as evidenced by their four players with at least 30 goals on the season.
Chad Palumbo leads the team with 44 goals, followed by Nate Kabiri (38), Tucker Wade (37) and Colin Burns (34). Kabiri is the leader in points with 83, while Palumbo has 74.
Notre Dame has only two 30-goal scorers in Luke Miller and Josh Yago, both of whom have 33 on the season.
Yago is the only 50-point scorer on the team, as he needed seven points in the semifinal to cross that threshold and give him 54 on the year.
If Notre Dame is going to win its third national title in the past three years, it may need Miller and Yago to take over in the championship game.
Princeton not only has more high-end production with Palumbo and Kabiri, but it also has more scoring depth, as six players have netted 20 or more goals on the year.
The Tigers have the fourth-most national titles in the history of the NCAA Division I Men's Lacrosse tournament with six, but they haven't come out on top since 2001.
Based on the sheer amount of attacking talent Princeton brings to the table, though, the Ivy League school has to be considered the favorite to come out on top in Monday's title game.
