American swimmer Katie Ledecky is having quite a week at the 2015 World Championships. The 18-year-old set another world record, this time in the 800-meter freestyle event Saturday.

USA Swimming Live provided the details of Ledecky's dash through the pool:

This comes on the heels of Ledecky's breaking of her own world record, originally set in 2014, in the 1,500-meter freestyle with a time of 15 minutes, 25.48 seconds on Tuesday.

In the process of setting this world record, Ledecky became the first swimmer in major international competition to win the 200, 400, 800 and 1,500 freestyles, according to Karen Crouse of the New York Times

Former English swimmer and four-time Olympic medalist Becky Adlington tried to convey via Twitter what she was seeing from Ledecky:

The last decade of competitive swimming has been dominated by Michael Phelps, but Ledecky is already doing things he didn't. She won a gold medal in the 800 freestyle as a 15-year-old at the 2012 London Olympics and figures to play a much more prominent role during the 2016 Games in Rio.

Not bad for a young woman who recently graduated high school and doesn't yet have a driver's license.
