SEC Baseball Tournament 2026 Friday Scores, Updated Bracket and Schedule

Two more teams kept their hopes of winning the 2026 SEC Baseball Tournament alive with wins in quarterfinal wins Friday in Hoover, Alabama.

Arkansas started out the evening with a blowout victory over Texas to advance to the semifinals.

Friday Highlights

No. 6 Auburn 7, No. 3 Texas A&M 0

Auburn earned its first appearance in the SEC tournament semifinals since 2003 with a 7-0 win over Texas A&M.

The Tigers' pitching duo of Andreas Alvarez and LJ Cormier set the tone by allowing just two singles in nine innings. Alvarez started and went five innings, working around four walks by striking out nine.

Cormier came on to start the sixth and struck out four over four innings of work.

While Alvarez and Cormier were taking care of things on the mound, Auburn's bats came out swinging early and often. Bub Terrell got the scoring started with a two-out RBI triple in the top of the first.

The floodgates opened in the top of the second with four runs. Mason McCraine led off the frame with a solo homer, followed by back-to-back singles Taylor Belza and Bristol Carter. Both came around to score on Chase Fralick's double two batters later.

Ethan Bingaman capped off the scoring in the game with a solo home run in the top of the seventh.

The Aggies had a total of four at-bats with a runner in scoring position, all of them in the first three innings. Their best scoring chance came in the bottom of the third when Blake Binderup and Boston Kellner advanced on a wild pitch with no outs, but back-to-back strikeouts and a fly out ended the threat.

Auburn's win sets up a showdown with Arkansas in the second semifinal game on Saturday. The Tigers went 2-1 against Arkansas in their three-game series during the regular season.

Two more wins will give Auburn its first SEC tournament title since 1998 and fourth overall.

An explosive first two innings in Friday's quarterfinal helped send Arkansas on to the semis on a rainy afternoon in Hoover, Alabama.

Camden Kozeal homered twice in as many innings to help the Razorbacks post six runs through the bottom of the second.

Texas scored in the bottom of the first on an RBI walk, but were unable to get another runner home as Arkansas pitchers Steele Eaves or Gabe Gaeckle combined for eight scoreless innings.

Arkansas will now advance to face Auburn with a trip to the SEC Tournament title game on the line.
