Ward, 23, had an up-and-down rookie season but showed plenty of promise, throwing for 3,169 yards, 15 touchdowns and seven interceptions, completing 59.8 percent of his passes. He also rushed for 159 yards and two scores, though he was just 3-14 as the starter.
