Giants' Jaxson Dart Jokes He's Not 'Like Tim Tebow' in Video After Weight Training in NFL Offseason

New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart referenced former NFL passer Tim Tebow when discussing his offseason weight training on Thursday.

While Dart told reporters that he was at roughly the same weight compared to his rookie season, he joked that he's "not like Tim Tebow" when asked about potential dangers of becoming too strong.

Tebow is known for his strength, which he displayed during his brief NFL career and college tenure at Florida in which he captured two national championships to go along with Heisman Trophy honors.

As for Dart, he's coming off an inaugural year with New York in which he showed promise despite the team's overall 4-13 record.

He completed 63.7 percent of his throws for 2,272 yards and 15 touchdowns compared to five interceptions in 14 games. Dart also showed off his dual-threat capabilities, rushing for 487 yards and nine scores while averaging 5.7 yards per attempt.
