Steelers' Will Howard Jokes He's 'Pissed' About Aaron Rodgers Not Inviting Him to Get Ice Cream

Will Howard might be hoping for an invite next time Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers goes out for ice cream with his teammates.

"Yeah, I'm still pissed about that," Howard joked when asked about not getting the invite during Wednesday's OTAs.

He added, "I'm just kidding."

Fans were first tipped off to the one-year contract Rodgers was about to sign in Pittsburgh when a social media user claimed to have spotted the veteran quarterback getting ice cream with other Steelers players.

ESPN's Brooke Pryor later confirmed the clip, then reported Rodgers' presence at the Steelers facility on Monday.

The Steelers announced hours later that Rodgers had been signed to a one-year deal.

Rodgers will be slated to start for the Steelers what he has said will be his final season in the NFL.

Howard, who did not make his NFL debut last season after injuring his right hand during his first training camp, could compete with Mason Rudolph for the chance to serve as Rodgers' backup next fall.
