Dolphins Players Surprise Equipment Staffer in Trending Video Ahead of Special Olympics Tournament
As Miami Dolphins staffer Josh Garcia prepared to take a sabbatical to take part in the 2026 Special Olympics, he was given a surprise sendoff by players for the team.
The Dolphins posted a video of players greeting Garcia as he was on his way to board a train to travel to Orlando for the State Games.

Garcia is a member of the Dolphins equipment team. As he explains it, his day-to-day responsibilities include laundry and preparing the lockers for players.
The State Games were held in Orlando from May 15-16. It leads into the 2026 Special Olympics that will be held at the University of Minnesota from June 20-26.
Approximately 170 athletes from the state of Florida will be among the more than 3,000 athletes from across the United States taking part in the Special Olympics next month.
