Jalen Hurts Reportedly Wasn't at A.J. Brown's Wedding Amid Eagles, Patriots Trade Rumors

Philadelphia Eagles star receiver A.J. Brown got married over the weekend, and his quarterback reportedly wasn't in attendance.

According to TMZ, Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts was not at Brown's wedding in California, though it's unclear whether he received an invitation or not. TMZ noted that no current Eagles were at the wedding, though former Eagle Darius Slay was a groomsman.

Hurts' absence at Brown's wedding comes amid rumors that the veteran receiver will be on the move after June 1.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported in April that Brown is on track to be traded to the New England Patriots post-June 1, when the Eagles will only be responsible for a $16.4 million dead cap charge rather than a $43.4 million charge if he were traded before June 1.

It's also worth noting that Brown reportedly was absent from a workout that included Hurts and wide receiver DeVonta Smith.

Of course, there is no clause in NFL contracts that says players must invite their teammates to their wedding, but Hurts' absence is perhaps telling of his and Brown's relationship at the moment.
