New Patriots Trade Rumors on WR Kayshon Boutte's Value amid A.J. Brown-Eagles Buzz
A.J. Brown is pretty widely believed to be headed to the New England Patriots in June, once the Philadelphia Eagles can spread his cap hit across two seasons, and that could have some interesting ramifications for other wideouts on the team.
According to Albert Breer of SI.com, "Patriots wide receiver Kayshon Boutte, I think, could be had for a fifth- or sixth-round draft pick right now, if anyone has an interest in him."
The 24-year-old caught 33 passes for 551 yards and a career-high six touchdowns in 2025 on 46 targets, though his receptions, yards and targets were all lower than his 2024 marks.

The expected addition of Brown—paired with the offseason acquisition of Romeo Doubs—could make targets even more sparse for a player like Boutte in 2025, with tight end Hunter Henry, fellow wideouts Mack Hollins and DeMario Douglas and running back TreVeyon Henderson likely to get a piece of the pie in the passing game as well.
