NFL Super Bowl 2030 Awarded to Nashville, Will Be Played at Titans' New Stadium

NFL owners voted Tuesday to approve Nashville, Tennessee as the host of Super Bowl 64 in 2030.

The Tennessee Titans are scheduled to move into the new Nissan Stadium in 2027. Longtime broadcaster Dan Patrick reported in April the venue was poised to host the Super Bowl in 2030:

The league's next four installments of the Super Bowl are as follows:

• Super Bowl LXI: Feb. 14, 2027 at Sofi Stadium (Inglewood, California)
• Super Bowl LXII: February 2028 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium (Atlanta)
• Super Bowl LXIII: February 2029 at Allegiant Stadium (Las Vegas)
• Super Bowl LXIV: February 2030 at Nissan Stadium (Nashville)

In April 2023, the Metro Nashville City Council approved issuing $760 million in bonds to help fund the construction of a new stadium for the Titans. A year earlier, Tennessee's state legislature earmarked $500 million in public funds toward the venture.

The stadium will be fully enclosed, a departure from the Titans' current home.

A selling point behind the new Nissan Stadium is that Nashville could improve its odds of hosting major events such as the Super Bowl, the College Football Playoff and Final Four.

While the league still has to vote in favor of the proposal, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell called Nashville a "Super Bowl-ready city" in November 2025.

"The one thing that was missing is the stage," he said while alluding to the Titans' future home. "And I think now, you're building a great stage. We have a process, but I have every expectation that we're going to see that type of thing in the future."
