Rory McIlroy Reveals How He Plans to Unwind Ahead of PGA Championship Final Round in Video

After vaulting himself into contention for the PGA Championship with a stellar third-round performance, Rory McIlroy plans to spend his Saturday night relaxing with Batman on the television.

Asked about his plans for the evening leading into the final round on Sunday, McIlroy revealed he might watch "a little" bit of what's still happening at Aronimink Golf Club before trying to finish his viewing of The Dark Knight.

McIlroy explained the 2008 film by Christopher Nolan is "one of my go-tos" when he wants to clear his head.

There are few things in the world that are more comforting than the Joker's opening bank heist or the chase sequence through downtown Gotham that ends with Batman flipping the semi-truck.

McIlroy can use some comfort material to avoid putting extra pressure on himself going into the final round at the PGA Championship. He shot a 66 in the third round after a 67 on Friday to move into the top 10.

If not for a four-over par 74 in the first round, McIlroy might be in control of the tournament in the way Batman feels like he's in control of things with the Joker in the interrogation room before things quickly turn on the Caped Crusader.

Hopefully, McIlroy avoids that fate as he goes for his first victory at the PGA Championship since 2014.
