PGA Championship 2026 Prize Money Increase Revealed as Scottie Scheffler Eyes Repeat

Scottie Scheffler is looking to defend his PGA Championship with historic prize money on the line.
Golfers at Aronimink Golf Club are competing this weekend for a tournament record total purse of $20.5 million, a $1.5 million increase from last year's $19 million pot.
The winner of the tournament will take home $3.69 million, while the second-place finisher pockets $2.214 million and third place receives $1.394 million.
The lowest payout goes to the 82nd-place finisher at $23,900, and any player who missed the cut will receive $4,300.
Scheffler is heading into Saturday at 2-under par after shooting a a 1-over 71 during Friday's second round.
