Patriots vs. Seahawks Season-Opener Tops Ticket Prices After NFL Schedule Release

After meeting in the Super Bowl last season, the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots will kick off the 2026 campaign.

Naturally, the Super Bowl rematch leads the way for the most expensive season-opener. Here's a look at the average ticket prices for each game in Week 1, according to Ticketmaster:

The Seahawks and Patriots emerged as the two best teams in the NFL by the end of the 2026 campaign, and it's hard to imagine they won't be near the top of the league again this year.

Seattle and New England both retained their quarterbacks, Sam Darnold and Drake Maye, along with a number of other key players. Both squads will look a bit different, as the Seahawks lost running back Kenneth Walker II and the Patriots parted ways with wide receiver Stefon Diggs, but there weren't too many other major changes.

Fans in Seattle are clearly fired after the Super Bowl win, which in turn led to expensive tickets in Week 1.

The Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders also drew high ticket prices, which isn't too surprising considering it's an NFC East matchup to start off the year.

A handful of other divisional matchups were near the top of the list, like the Green Bay Packers vs. the Minnesota Vikings and the Kansas City Chiefs vs. the Denver Broncos.

The Chargers are coming off a solid season, but the disappointing loss in the wild-card round in the playoffs was apparently not enough to draw expensive ticket prices — at least not for a Week 1 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.
