T'Vondre Sweat Reacts to Jets-Titans Matchup in 2026 NFL Schedule Release After Offseason Trade

T'Vondre Sweat won't have to wait very long to face his former team after being traded.

The defensive tackle will go up against the Tennessee Titans in Week 1 in his first game with the New York Jets. He's clearly looking forward to that matchup.

Sweat has plenty of motivation heading into the game as he looks to get his revenge against the Titans after they traded him to the Jets in return for Jermaine Johnson II back in March.

Sweat, who recorded 34 tackles and two sacks last year, is looking to have a breakout season in 2026 with his new team, starting with a big game against the Titans.

Both the Titans and Jets are still in rebuild mode, as both Tennessee and New York finished 3-14 a year ago. The Week 1 matchup will give one of the struggling franchises the chance to start the year with a win.
