'We Keep Receipts,' Deion Sanders Gets Real About Shedeur Criticism Ahead of 2nd NFL Season

Deion Sanders is taking note of those who criticize his son, Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders.

The Colorado football coach said he and his family "keep receipts."

"One thing about the family, we keep receipts. We do that," Sanders said on The Barbershop (6:25 mark). "We know who's who, who talks about us. So, when we come up, we know who not to get down with."

The younger Sanders has been in the spotlight for most of the last year. After sliding to the fifth round of the 2025 NFL draft, he started the season on the bench for the Browns before ultimately earning the starting job late in the year.

In eight games, he threw for 1,400 yards, seven touchdowns and 10 interceptions. While he showed some flashes, he certainly has some work to do before he's a regular starter in the NFL.

If that moment comes, his father will be on standby with receipts ready.
