Logan Paul, Theory Beat Street Profits to Retain Tag Titles at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event

Logan Paul and Austin Theory of The Vision defeated The Street Profits at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event to win the World Tag Team Championships.

Simply put, the Street Profits couldn't overcome a four-on-two battle, with Paul Heyman and Bron Breakker both getting involved.

The Street Profits appeared to have this match won after The Anointment-From the Heavens combo on Theory. However, Heyman put Theory's foot on the rope, breaking up the three-count.

Just beforehand, Breakker sprinted in to attack the Street Profits, but Angelo Dawkins tossed him over the announcers' table.

Paul then unleashed more shenanigans, striking Montez Ford with brass knuckles outside the ring before tossing him back onto the mat.

Dawkins flipped over the ropes to take out Paul. However, that gave Theory an opportunity to pin Ford for the win.

After a seven-month hiatus from WWE programming, The Street Profits made their return on the post-WrestleMania 42 edition of Raw by saving Seth Rollins from an attack at the hands of The Vision.

Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins returned to in-ring action a few weeks later, teaming with Joe Hendry to beat Paul, Theory and Bron Breakker in a six-man tag team match.

Rollins played a big role in the result, as he attacked Breakker during the match, which allowed The Street Profits and Hendry to take advantage.

During a tense backstage confrontation after the match, The Street Profits made it clear that they didn't trust Rollins, noting that the only reason for their involvement with The Vision was to get their hands on the tag team titles.

Paul and Theory became tag team champions in March when they beat The Usos for the titles in a tag team street fight on Raw thanks partly to interference from streamer IShowSpeed.

While Paul, Theory and Speed went on to lose a six-man tag team bout against The Usos and LA Knight at WrestleMania 42, Paul and Theory carried a nearly two-month tag title reign into SNME.

Paul and Theory are still relatively new as a team whereas Ford and Dawkins have been teaming together for a decade.

They have also enjoyed enormous success over the years, as they entered Saturday Night's Main Event having held the WWE Tag Team Championships twice, and the Raw and NXT Tag Team Championships one time each.

Despite the experience disparity, Paul and Theory managed to escape Saturday Night's Main Event with their title reign intact, although it feels like their rivalry with The Street Profits is far from over.
