Scottie Scheffler Jokes About LeBron James Golf Swing Comparison in New Video

LeBron James may have a future in golf after the Los Angeles Lakers star was compared to Scottie Scheffler by other golfers on the PGA Tour.

Xander Schauffele and Cameron Young were shown a video of James' swing, and both initially thought it was Scheffler, who is known for having a bit of an unorthodox swing.

Scheffler joked that he and James both have bad footwork.

"I mean, his is terrible too," Scheffler said of James' footwork.

James is still a newbie when it comes to the sport of golf, picking it up after he turned 40 as a way to challenge himself. While his form might still need some polishing, he must be doing something right if he's being compared to a golfer like Scheffler.

James and the Lakers lost in the second round of the NBA playoffs, so he now has an offseason ahead to continue getting better at golf. Whether he'll return to the court next season or move on to retirement—and more golf—remains to be seen.
