
Yankees vs. Mets Subway Series Game Will Air on Times Square Video Board by Apple TV
Some New York Mets and Yankees fans looking to watch this weekend's Subway Series might be heading to Midtown rather than Citi Field.
Apple TV is broadcasting Friday night's matchup between the Yankees and Mets on a display spanning a city block in Times Square, according to a Wednesday press release from MLB.

First pitch between the Mets and Yankees is set for 7:15 p.m. ET on Friday in Queens.
The first 15,000 fans in attendance at Citi Field on Saturday and Sunday will also receive a Subway Series giveaway shirt.
The Yankees are looking to bounce back this weekend after a recent slump that has seen them drop six of their last eight games, including a 7-0 shutout by the Baltimore Orioles on Wednesday.

The Times Square broadcast is not the only promotion that will be taking place over the next few days during what MLB is billing as "Rivalry Weekend."
The City of Chicago Pipe Band, a musical group comprised of bagpipe players and drummers, will perform in the parking lot outside Rate Field before the Chicago White Sox and Chicago Cubs face off.
The Cleveland Guardians will use their weekend matchup against the Cincinnati Reds to celebrate their 2016 ACLS season on Friday.
Fans attending Saturday's game can receive a bobblehead commemorating Rajai Davis' game-tying home run in the eighth inning of the 2016 World Series, which the Guardians ultimately lost to the Cubs.
The San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners are preparing for the second annual Vedder Cup, which features the series' winning team hoisting a guitar-shaped trophy designed by Pearl Jam singer Eddie Vedder.
