Patriots vs. Lions in Germany, All International Games Revealed on NFL Schedule 2026

Ahead of the full regular-season schedule reveal on Thursday, the NFL has announced the New England Patriots vs. Detroit Lions matchup in Germany to round out the entire international slate that will be played.

The league is playing a record nine games outside of the United States, with the Jacksonville Jaguars and San Francisco 49ers set to play multiple international games as part of the schedule.

Here's the full international schedule for the 2026 season after Wednesday's reveal.

• Sept. 27: Baltimore Ravens vs. Dallas Cowboys (Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil)
• Oct. 4: Indianapolis Colts vs. Washington Commanders (Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England)
• Oct. 11: Philadelphia Eagles vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England)
• Oct. 18: Houston Texans vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (Wembley Stadium in London, England)
• Oct. 25: Pittsburgh Steelers vs. New Orleans Saints (Stade de France in Paris, France)
• Nov. 8: Cincinnati Bengals vs. Atlanta Falcons (Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid, Spain)
• Nov. 15: New England Patriots vs. Detroit Lions (Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany)
• Nov. 22: Minnesota Vikings vs. San Francisco 49ers (Estadio Banorte in Mexico City, Mexico)

The NFL first experimented with international games during the 2007 season with one matchup in London. It has since grown to the point that seven different countries, not including the U.S., will host games in 2026.

Paris, Rio de Janeiro and Melbourne will be hosting games for the first time. Mexico City is hosting a game for the first time since the 2022 season.

The Jaguars have adopted London as their second home. This season will mark the sixth consecutive year that will play in England. They will split two games between Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and Wembley Stadium.

Jacksonville has played 12 games in England since 2013, posting a 6-6 record.

The 49ers-Rams game from Melbourne on Sept. 10 is part of an NFC West-centric opening week slate of primetime matchups. They will square off one day after the Seattle Seahawks raise their Super Bowl 60 banner in the 2026 kickoff game against a still-to-be announced opponent.

San Francisco's trip to Australia is part of a schedule that will require it to travel more than 38,000 miles, setting a new NFL record.

The Nov. 22 game between the Minnesota Vikings and 49ers in Mexico City will mark the latest date into a season that the NFL has played an international game. It previously belonged to the 49ers' 2022 game against the Arizona Cardinals in Mexico City that was played on Nov. 21.
