Paige Bueckers Describes Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese, More WNBA Stars in 1 Word in 'Hot Ones' Video
Dallas Wings guard Paige Bueckers played a word association game with ex-UConn teammate (and current Connecticut Sun forward) Aaliyah Edwards on the latest edition of Hot Ones Versus.
Edwards named five players plus their ex-UConn head coach, Geno Auriemma, and Bueckers had to describe them all in one word. Here were the results (11:01 mark).
| Player | Word |
| Atlanta Dream C Angel Reese | Transformational |
| Indiana Fever G Caitlin Clark | Bucket |
| Ex-Phoenix Mercury G Diana Taurasi | Goated |
| USC G JuJu Watkins | Cold-as-hell |
| UConn WBB HC Geno Auriemma | Menace |
| Connectict Sun F Aaliyah Edwards | Amazing |
One could use some of those words to describe Bueckers, who has enjoyed a great start to her WNBA career. Last year, Bueckers won the WNBA Rookie of the Year award and made the All-WNBA Second Team.
She also earned All-Star honors en route to 19.2 points on 47.7 percent shooting, 5.4 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game.
That opening pro season followed Bueckers leading UConn to a national championship in her final year in school.
